Special Class Info
MTN announces a fantastic one-stop location available now to register for Classes... Now you can see MTN class offerings, register and pay for your class all at the same time; in one spot, online. That spot is the popular website called EventBrite. All of June's classes are listed there now -- with openings for new students still available. Next week the July and August class dates will be added to the site. AND watch for some new offerings -- coming soon. Membership must be paid -- if you are not a member of MTN. Class registrations can be made on the website but memberships still must be active to participate in the equipment certification courses at MTN. Memberships can still be renewed through the mail or at the front desk when you come in -- payments still can be paid with cash or by check. Soon we will be adding a credit card device for card payments in Checkout -- watch for that and more improvements in the coming months, at MTN.
Final Cut Pro Info
Final Cut Pro class dates will be scheduled monthly now on the Event Brite site. The classes will be led by Jessica Talley, firstname.lastname@example.org. If the listed dates do not work out for you -- feel free to call and together we can find times which would work for both you and the instructor. Also, MTN can offer one-on-one training in Final Cut Pro, either to enhance your editing knowledge of the functions within Final Cut Pro or to help you discover advanced techniques within the world of post-production. We can suggest you set up an hourly session with Fanuel Tsehaye, email@example.com - to make some impressive additions to your production.
Basic Studio Update!
MTN's Basic Studio Class has traditionally been split into two class sessions --- bringing access initially to MTN's smaller Studio B --- and, in the second session, introduction to our larger Studio A. We are considering an Advanced Studio Production course for the serious producer with finer skills development involved. Some students have mentioned their interest in developing larger scale productions in Studio A. This course, still in development, would include specific role training for camera operators, lighting and audio technicians, along with advanced graphics options and directing skills. The purpose of the course is to bring to fruition high quality presentations and develop an increasingly skilled volunteer base for utilization on large scale projects. If you have an interest in being part of this program, please speak with MTN's Access/Studio Manager, Doug Cain or email him at, firstname.lastname@example.org
NEW -- Training to Begin Soon on SONY HD NX5U Cameras; Details are still being finalized on a Low-Cost rental program for this high-end portable camera...
Wellshare International has sent a large number of its employees through our production classes in recent months -- we appreciate their enthusiasm and skills --- on a number of fronts. MTN was able to assist them with the presentation and packaging of their latest bi-lingual training video. MTN helped facilitate a multi-colored DVD printing in house along with a high quality menu-formatted interface. If you have a similar project, in need of some bright polish, ask for more details by calling Eboun Singhathip, MTN's Production Services manager.
