Segment One: 360 Goes Rogue is a group art show put on by the Gallery 360 at the Rogue Buddha Gallery. 36 artists showed original artwork, focusing on the dark side of passion. Correspondent Carrie Volk attended the opening and spoke to artists and gallery owners. Also, host Tom Cassidy talks with Yuri Arajs about the Outsiders and Others Gallery. Segment Two: Off-Leash Area: Contemporary Performance Works is an interdisciplinary dance and theater company who does all original work. They just had a show called Maggie's Brain, about a young woman with schizophrenia. Correspondent Beth Peloff attended one of these performances and later spoke to the two co-artistic directors. Also, host Tom Cassidy talks with Yuri Arajs about the closing of the Outsiders and Others Gallery. Segment Four: Homewood Studios is an artists' workspace, community gallery and meeting space in North Minneapolis. They recently hosted a quilt show where various Northside quilting artists showcased a handful of intricate patterned quilts. Correspondent Carrie Volk attended the opening and interviewed the gallery owner and some of the exhibiting quilters. |
