A group of Linden Hills Neighborhood residents are taking MTN's Beginning Video Production class with instructor John Akre in order to tell their neighborhood's story through oral history interviews. The Linden Hills Video Workshop is a project that brings together resources from the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council, the Neighborhood Revitalization Program and MTN. The students receive a reduced rate for the class and MTN membership in exchange for producing video that can be used to get people involved in their neighborhood's work. Last summer, members of the Kenny Neighborhood took the class and produced a video to raise awareness of water quality issues surrounding Grass Lake. If you would like more information on how this program could work with your neighborhood group, call John Akre at the NRP (673-5145) or at MTN (331-8575).
