CONGRATULATIONS HOMETOWN WINNERS: Roxxy Hall and Tony Clark were in attendance at the National Alliance for Community Media's Hometown Video Festival Awards Night. Hall and Clark picked up two awards for their show "Musical Chairs" in the Gay/Lesbian Professional Series and Single Categories. Congratualations!
"Musical Chairs" will be playing this fall on MTN Channel 33 on Fridays at 8:30 PM.
The MTN Spring Bash, Memory and Friends by Mustafa Tell
The people of the Twin Cities now have one more reason to look forward to spring after the long Minnesota winter: The MTN Spring Music Bash. This year I had the pleasure, and the honor, of being the producer for this wonderful event. I must say it was a great experience putting it all together and seeing the community and MTN working hand in hand. I hope this exciting partnership continues in the future to make the MTN Bash one of the premier musical events in the Twin Cities.
This year's Bash was in The Fine Line Music Cafe in downtown Minneapolis. Five great local bands volunteered their talent for this event which took place on May fourth. We started with the wonderful Mediterranean sounds of Yanaris & Friends. Their music took us to a wonderful and exotic
