MTN is a public access forum, so you can use the medium of television to speak and have an audience to speak to. But sometimes making a show and dropping it off can be a lonely way to communicate, because you never can see that audience, watching your show on their TVs.
If you want to see a live audience reaction, and get to know some of the other television-makers in the MTN family, consider coming to one of our MTN Member's Screenings. We'll be holding them every other month or so. Look for flyers publicizing them when you stop by MTN.
The next Member's Screening will be on Friday, September 20th at 7 p.m. in MTN's Studio A.
The Member's Screenings are run like the public access TV programming is, so it will be first come, first served. Members get 15 minutes to show a short piece or a clip from a show and to

answer any questions viewers might have of the clip. If you don't have something to show or don't want to show anything, you're also most welcome to come.
We'll have a video projector set up so your clips can show on a big screen. We'll play the tapes back from the Studio A control room, so any format we can show there is fine to bring. Those formats are VHS, S-VHS, DV, DVCAM and 3/4". Please have your tape cued up to the point where you want to start it playing. If your clip exceeds 15 minutes, we'll cut it off at the 15 minute point.
So come on down to an MTN Member's Screening - or better yet, make it a habit.
