MTN’s playback facility now has Digital Video Recorders (DVR) to record programs between 5:00 and 10:00 pm for repeat play from Midnight to 4:30 pm.  With this new technology, viewers will notice better picture and sound quality during late night and daytime hours.  Also, programs will now start and end closer to the hour and half-hour. T he DVRs will not, however, record programs containing copy-protected material from DVDs or videotapes.  If you use copy-protected material, MTN will only play that tape once.  Please respect copyright laws! - Martin Hallanger

The good folks who produce one of MTN’s few children’s programs (but adults can watch it too!) Toad, Turtle and Whoever Else Shows Up, sent us this photo. You can find out what’s up with Toad and Turtle (and all the other puppets and cartoons that show up) on MTN 17 on Fridays at 6 pm. Because of our hard drive replay, it shows again on Saturday mornings!
