Minneapolis Public Schools serve on the board as Ex-Officio Representatives.
Besides a monthly meeting, board members participate in board committees. These committees include Public Relations, Finance, Equipment, and Facilities and Franchise Renewal. The work of the board is especially important at this time because we are in the midst of franchise renewal, a process that will determine MTN's future.
The MTN Board meets on the second Thursday of every month at 5:30 PM at MTN. Meetings are open to the public. The Board does not traditionally meet during the month of July.
A second board seat will soon be open for applicants. If you are interested in serving on the MTN Board and would like more information, please call Pam Colby at 612-331-8575 x 304. Please note that Minneapolis residency is a requirement.
